indicating that it has two sets of interplane struts
and associated wires between the wings.

This is the major difference between the
‘Biggles Biplane’ replica and the Tiger Moth upon
which it is based. ‘Rigging’ such an aeroplane to
ensure that the wings remain straight and
wires evenly tensioned is a major challenge,
not least because the skills belong to a bygone
