Barbara Schlussler's Luton Minor G-AXGR was built by R. and W. Spall and first flew at Turnhouse (Edinburgh) in November 1969.
David Spall's 12 hour journey in 1970 from East Fortune to the Air League's Flying for Fun Rally at Sywell was recognised by the award of the prize for the 'Most Commendable Flight'.

After a complete overhaul of the original engine and extensive work on the airframe, at the end of July 2001, it received its first Permit to Fly in 11 years and is currently based at Fenland
